Weaver Races in Rich King Memorial
Cameron Weaver made the short trip to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Saturday evening for the Rich King Memorial, which posted a $5,000 top prize for the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series event.
Thirty-one competitors were in action at the 3/8-mile oval. Cameron's night began with the eighth-fastest time in his qualifying group followed by a fifth-place finish in his heat race.
Relegated to a B-Main, Weaver charged from third to first in the consolation event to earn the 17th-starting spot for the 50-lap feature. He went on to advance to a 14th-place finish in the finale.
